It is not necessary to be Sir to have oatmeal porridge at our café

From 9 to 11:30 a.m. we serve breakfast: from ultra-light of coffee and a cigarette to substantial and wholesome continental meals: fried eggs sunny-side up, omelets, muesli and croissants with jam, marmalade, and condensed milk and plenty of porridge, of course.

In beano veritas!

It makes no difference to a good coffee whether you pretentiously stick your little finger out when holding a cup, or dip a croissant into it, or even take it with a cigarette. All it needs is to be reasonably hot and enjoyable. You don’t need any special reason for a cup of espresso.

Peppy wasabi

The crackling of chopsticks over
small cakes of cooked rice begins at noon
and finishes just an hour before midnight.

No set lunches - come and taste
anything you find on the menu

At lunch hours (normally from 13 to 16 p.m.), we have many guests. Some of them are charging up with sushi, some come for the soup of the day, others drop in for a bite of salad and fresh juice.

Eat and drink whatever you want, but for your own good we strongly recommend that you have your lunch hot, slowly and joyfully.

Be strong!

Any dessert made by our confectioners
is the potential source of unlimited Oohs,
Aahs and other ambiguous moans.
Grape Cake is particularly dangerous.
Get yourself together.

The last meal is not the last event of the day

The evening atmosphere at our café is just perfect for a romantic and promising dinner. Wine, sushi, more wine, a rosy glow on the cheeks, two coffees and the check, please.

However, nothing prevents you from having a binge, party or spree: the chef takes orders until 10:30 p.m., the bartender plays till the last shot.

Boozing is harmful and dangerous

But taking cocktails responsibly and then leaving for home (or wherever)
in a mellow and cheerful mood is quite another story.
Over a hundred of recipes of delightful and slightly insidious
beverages crowd our bartender's mind for real cocktail fans only.

It's Polkan's time

From 11 p.m. till 9 a.m. (Moscow time) there isn't anyone
at Café Le Chocolat except for the fierce and unchained
dog Polkan.

This virtuous and courageous dog
easily replaces any sophisticated alarm system:
some thieves have nearly died laughing
on the spot; others have thrown down
their skeleton keys and
run home to change pants.
